Plastic face cream? Toothpaste? Huh?

Ever wonder what kind of people create this stuff! Are they our neighbors? How do they think it’s ok to create a personal care product additive called microbeads? These super small plastic beads are now being found building up in wastewater treatment facilities as well as watersheds at an alarming rate of 8 trillion a day! Rather than holding the companies (polluters) who make or use these beads accountable, some are actually wondering if wastewater treatment facilities shouldn’t be liable for the contaminants entering their facility to begin with! Doesn’t anyone remember “give a hoot, don’t pollute”?
